About These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the aow-africa.com website and any safari, tour, activity or accommodation booking made with Adventures on Wheels (AOW-Africa), trading as ADVENTURES ON WHEELS PBC, based in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. By browsing this site or making a booking with us, you agree to these terms.

Bookings & Payment

A booking is confirmed once we have received your booking request and any required deposit or payment. Prices shown on the site are indicative and are confirmed in writing at the time of booking, as rates for tours, lodges and activities can vary by season, group size and availability.

Full payment terms, deposit amounts and due dates are communicated directly to you by our team once your itinerary is finalized.

Cancellations & Changes

Cancellation and rescheduling terms depend on the specific tour, lodge or activity booked, as our suppliers and partners across Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia each set their own policies. We will share the applicable cancellation terms with you in writing before you pay a deposit.

We recommend all travelers take out appropriate travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies and adventure activities.

Travel Risks & Adventure Activities

Safaris and adventure activities (including but not limited to game drives, white-water rafting, bungee jumping, helicopter flights and river cruises) carry inherent risk. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit for the activities you book. Local operators may require you to sign their own waivers before participating.

Our Role

AOW-Africa arranges and coordinates tours, transport, activities and accommodation on your behalf, often working with third-party lodges, camps and activity operators. While we vet our partners carefully, we are not liable for the acts, omissions or service failures of independent third-party suppliers, or for delays and disruptions caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (including weather, border closures, wildlife conditions or government regulations).

Content on this website, including text, photography and itineraries, belongs to AOW-Africa or is used with permission and may not be reproduced without our consent.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.
